Privacy Policy
Geolocation
We seed a coarse map center from IP-based geolocation so nearby trucks can appear without a permission prompt. Device location is used only when you choose Use my location (or the navigation target control next to the location field) to improve accuracy. This is described in more detail in our full policy materials as the product grows.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for sign-in and site operation. With your consent, we use analytics and (where applicable) marketing cookies as described in the cookie banner. You can change preferences via the cookie icon.
Help with privacy and account deletion
Closing an account keeps directory listings. Personal data is erased only after a deletion request. You can submit that request at /privacy/deletion-request. If you cannot use the form, email support@foodtrucknerdz.com or review /help. This page is not legal advice.
Directory listings
FoodTruckNerdz compiles public facts about real-world food trucks. A listing can stay registered and unclaimed after a business closes. After about three years a closed listing is hidden from Find (delisted), not deleted. Owners can still claim it. Asking us to remove a listing is a separate request from erasing personal data.
